"This is the best night of my life!" said Maddon.

We have been waiting and waiting for the weather to get a bit cooler so we can take advantage of our beautiful back porch.  Tonight was the night!!!  We ate a delicious dinner outside together as a family.  Then I went in to put Colbie to bed and Daddy and Maddon worked on building the best fire ever!  Sure enough when I returned back outside the blaze was enormous and Maddon was jumping around like a kid on Christmas morning.  What fun!  We roasted marshmellows and watched Maddon have the best time with a glowing smile on his face!!!!

Fall is busier than ever!!!

Maddon started school and so did his mama...so we have all been crazy busy trying to find our way.  Hopefully it will slow down soon.  Maddon did great at his new schools.  Yes, he is going to 2 different schools this year...not too confusing for a 3 year old right?  He is going to Arlington Heights Methodist Pre-School two days a week and then Fort Worth Zoo school on Wednesdays.  What a fun year it is going to be with many "firsts".  We also had Colbie "dedicated" this past weekend at Christ Chapel Bible Church.  Our families were all there to help us celebrate this special day.  Enjoy the pics!!!

Maddon's first day of pre-school!  He had a great first day and shared so many funny stories!

Maddon and Colbie getting ready for TCU Football!!!!

Charlie and I at the first TCU game of the season at Cowboys stadium!!!

We had a great time with friends and most of all WE WON!!!

Not the best picture of Colbie, I know, but this was the only one I could get before she started ripping her bonnet off.  She hated that thing!!!!

My sweetest Colbie Slone!!!

Maddon visits the dentist

Maddon did such a fantastic job during his dentist appointment...I almost could not believe my eyes.  He sat so still and did everything Miss Mona and Dr. Tillman asked him to do.  He counted all his teeth with them and for the record he has 10 on top and 10 on the bottom!!!  Here are some pics of the whole experience!

Chef Maddon

Maddon has quite the imagination these days.  He loves spending his days dressing up in costumes and wearing different hats or outfits to pretend he is whatever it is he chooses to be for the day.  My favorite profession so far has been the trash man.  He wears some rubber gloves, a hat, and pushes around his grocery cart...collecting and dumping trash.

Here is Maddon making a cake for me... cause "he is the very best chef in the whole world".
