Tis the Season!!!

It brings me the utmost joy to see Christmas through the eyes of a child. This has to be one of the best feelings I have had as a mama! Maddon has been such a joy to be around and is beside himself for Santa to arrive! We have enjoyed decorating 2 Christmas trees with the kids, hanging Christmas lights outside was a highlight for Maddon because he got to climb on Daddy's big ladder. We took Maddon to have a pancake breakfast with Santa at the Grapevine fire department and there he got to see Santa depart in a helicopter! His eyes were as big as saucers! We had our Christmas card pictures taken at Nash Farms on one of the coldest, windiest days so far, but Cathie still managed to get some great shots! Yesterday we got to enjoy Maddon's first Christmas program at his pre-school. They are so precious!

Schulz happenings!

The days, weeks, and months seem to be flying by so I am trying to get caught up on blogging! Colbie is running everywhere and is my little dare devil. She is quite the drama queen and makes me laugh all the time! Maddon is so funny too and his vocabulary continues to amaze me. He is one smart cookie! Here are some random pics of the kiddos!

Thanksgiving...always a special time with family!

Holidays continue to be so great because our family is so blessed to have both of our parents in Texas now. We get to see both sets of parents for every holiday and that is so special! Maddon and Colbie are so fortunate to have amazing grandparents that they get to see whenever they want!!!

Colbie's 1st Birthday!

Okay, I am a bad mom because I ended up with only about 4 pictures from Colbie's first birthday party. Fortunately there were several others there with cameras so I will add some more pictures later! Miss Colbie Slone had a great time at her party and did so great eating cake and opening presents! Thank you to everyone for the great gifts and for sharing her birthday with us!!!

Halloween Festivities!

Halloween, of course was even better this year...1. Because I was not 10 months pregnant, waddling around the neighborhood and 2. Maddon was so in to it, whereas last year he was not so sure about the whole thing and I couldn't even get him to wear his costume. So not the case this year! The week was filled with parties, pumpkin carving, and of course trick-or-treating!!!

Maddon got to go trick-or treating at his school as a warm-up before the weekend! Here is his sweet little class listening to Mrs. Colleen tell a story!
